Youth Ministy at Casa de Luz

Celebrating Fabiola's Birthday!

"Turn on Sound."

Everything we do is about Jesus. Fabiola is one of our most faithful young people. This was a night of celebration because we love them. The Christian life is more than rules and more than having a good time. We are making disciples.
Each week, our young people come to the ministry center. We teach them to know Jesus, to love Jesus and to walk with Jesus. Thirty-seven percent of all Christians come to know Jesus when they are in their teenage years.
Camp was a tremendous success. One of our young ladies received Christ. After camp, four indicated they wanted to follow the Lord in baptism. Glory to God!
Youth Camp 2025
We taught the teens about moral purity and discovered that they weren't being taught about sex at home nor in their youth groups.

Some years ago, the idea of "Promise Rings". The concept was designed to get the young people to "promise" to remain pure until marriage. It had limited results.
Instead of telling them to just say no to sex, we taught them about living virtuous lives. This positive approach guided the young people to treat others with value. Instead of using others (which is the opposite of love), we taught how to honor the Lord Jesus by honoring everyone around them. We gave them a purple wrist band to remind them that they belonged to the King. For those who were not saved, the bands served as a reminder of the that they needed Jesus.
Many youth groups dedicate significant time to playing games and enjoying themselves. While we also value fun and games, we recognize that these alone do not lead to meaningful change in anyone’s life. Today’s young people are confronted with challenges greater than those faced by any previous generation.

Jesus commanded us to preach the gospel and make disciples. Our youth are being taught how to walk with Jesus. We provide a safe place for them to learn how to follow Jesus. Many are being saved and baptized.
